The weekend should be cloudy in San Jose, according to the San Jose State University meteorology department, which compiled its information on April 19 from the National Weather Service.

Showers are expected to follow after last night's rain, with a forecast of mostly cloudy skies and temperature highs in the lower 60s - winds from the southeast at about 5 to 10 mph.

The skies should reduce to partly cloudy tonight with low temperatures in the mid 40s and west winds coming in at 5 mph.

Saturday has a 30 percent chance of rain, probably in the afternoon, with mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures around the mid 60s - light winds from the southwest traveling between 5 to 10 mph.

The chances of rain will continue into Saturday night with temperature lows in the upper 40s.

Sunday is expected to start mostly cloudy then become less by afternoon - the chances of showers should continue with high temperatures in the lower 60s.

Sunday night is expected to be partly cloudy with low temperatures in the mid 40s.

Students can expect to come back on Monday with mostly clear skies that will last through Wednesday, with warmer temperatures, according to the meteorology department.
