SJSU alumnus sees the glass as half full

Legally blind at the age of 19, Eric Christierson, technology specialist at the Alternative Media Center on the second floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library, helped to organize and start the media center in 1999.

On the second floor of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library against the north wall is an electric, sliding glass door. From the outside, it looks like a small office.

Through the door the room opens to the Emma E. Legg Adaptive Technology Center, which is filled with computers, each in its own little cubicle. (0) comments
