The Cuban has Little Havana, Portugal has Little Portugal, Italian has 13 Little Italy through out the United States also for more than 30 China Town. Why the Vietnamese people don't learn from them? Little Saigon is our nice identity. It includes business, education, culture, entertainment, cooking, politics.... but Saigon business is just for business people and it is so material meaning. SBD is not fit for all communities but it fit for Madison Nguyen, our reprisentative person!

I am feeling so bad about she asked foreign people to name our identity! Is she a good leader? I don't think so. Can we move on with this issue? I don't think so. Is she hiding her secrete agenda from the public?

I don't really care about what name got picked. The only thing that really pissed me off is that the city county + Madison Nguyen did not honor the voting system. If people who cared enough to show up and vote for the name they want, why ignored it? Even if the majority says they want some other name, they should show up to count!!!

Here's an idea for a name: AMERICA! It seems that immigrants today are more concerned about their old country and culture than the one they came to in the United States. People chose to leave other countries--for good reasons--and come to the United States for a new opportunity. I would like to see the term "insert former country here"-American replaced with simply American. Then, maybe we can all embrace our common citizenship and heritage, while still respecting the diversity of where we all came from.
