I lived one door away from Peanuts at the corner of 7th and San Fernando for a few years when it was the Beta Theta Pi house. We would refer to Peanuts as "the fridge."
Where do you go when you are hungry? The fridge. I can attest that while my actual fridge was always empty, my belly was always full because of Peanuts. I do not believe that there is another establishment in the world with the combination of traits found at Peanuts: cheap beer, great view, friendly staff, tasty food, and perfect location. If there is, which I doubt, I don't care. My allegiance is to Peanuts.
