Wrestling team finds new home at Sport Club

Abstract:
The SJSU wrestling club's home page depicts a picture of Uncle Sam pointing at the viewer, while the line below it reads: "Here's your chance to have some sweaty, exhausting, body-building fun, fun, fun."

Club president Hanno Murphy echoed the club's convivial statement and explained his vision for this group, which is open to both men and women and has had a long history on campus....

It's good to see the club being able to practice on campus again. Finding time and space to host the practice on campus was always a bit fraught with difficulties and it's well appreciated that the Event Center has the given the club time and space.

More ladies need to attend. Beginners are welcome. Wrestling is a very effective form of martial art and can be quite useful in unpleasant circumstances.

A side note: the SJSU Wrestling website is THE biggest college wrestling website on the internet. It has archival information regarding SJSU, SJS Wrestling back to the 1930s. Over 2000 webpages currently available.
